Cable Partners Leadership



Richard Alden is the CEO of Cableuropa, the Cable Partners operation in Spain trading under the name ONO. Prior to his appointment as CEO he served as the CFO for Cableuropa and successfully led the creation of ONO's finance organisation and various financing efforts. Mr Alden has gained significant exposure to telecommunications strategy and the capital markets. Prior to joining Callahan Associates International in early 1998 he held senior finance positions with various subsidiaries of Videotron in the UK and the USA, raising over $1 billion in financing. In addition, he was instrumental in the IPO for Videotron Corporation Limited and its sale to Cable and Wireless Communications.



Richard J. Callahan is the Chairman of Cable Partners. He founded Callahan Associates International LLC, subsequently Cable Partners, an organisation that develops, operates and finances communications, entertainment and information projects around the world. Created in 1996, Callahan Associates was active in two distinct but complimentary lines of business. Mr Callahan led the Company to its position as one of the leading cable communications operators in Europe with business in Spain and Belgium, encompassing over 10 million franchise homes.



Charles (Chuck) Carroll is Cable Partners' highly experienced Chief Technology Officer. Chuck has a long and distinguished Executive and Technical career in the International Cable Television and Telecommunications environment, spanning 14 years, three Continents, and five different Companies during their start-up phase of operation. His work with Cable Partners spans roles as Chief Technology Officer for ish, as well as Chief Executive Officer of Telenet Operations in Belgium. Earlier in his career, Chuck was a part of MediaOne International, and it's predecessor company, US West International. Whilst there, in addition to his initial secondment to Telenet as Chief Operating Officer, Chuck played a key role in the start-up of the Japanese Cable Telecommunications industry as Chief Telecommunications Officer at TITUS Communications, as well as in the start-up of the UK Cable Television and Tele-communications industry, as Senior Vice-President of Engineering at Telewest from it's formation as a company.



Dan Forey began working in Cable Television in 1972 when he started working for Bill Daniels "the father of cable television". Working for Daniels, he built cable systems in the Western US, helped start one of the first sports channels and assisted in developing the premier investment banking company, Daniels & Associates, in telecommunications. Forey became a Partner with Daniels in 1989. As senior vice president, Forey was the managing director International, handling transactions in Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East. Forey retired from Daniels in 1995 and purchased the Cable System in San Jose, Costa Rica. He has owned and operated cable systems in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Forey has been involved in all aspects of telecommunications from construction to taking companies through public offerings to Internet and telephony.



Marc Franzman joined Cable Partners in late 2000 and has been the fulcrum of CPE’s worldwide reporting and accounting initiatives. Marc leads all financial reporting and accounting team efforts including management of structural complexities and CPE partnership issues. Prior to joining CPE, Marc was an experienced manager at Arthur Andersen LLP in New York and subsequently spent two years as Director of Finance at Saunders Karp & Megrue LLP, a $2 billion private equity firm. Marc holds a BS in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University and a CPA from New York State.



Christopher W. McLaughlin is Cable Partners' Vice President of Public Relations and was acting Vice President, Public Relations at ish and Kabel BW Germany. Chris joined from Visa International, EU Region, where he was Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications. His role included all communications concerning international payment systems. Prior to Visa, he was at Philip Morris International, in Switzerland, where he ran youth smoking prevention campaigns and corporate responsibility initiatives across 33 countries – including extensive polling and other attitudinal research. He has wide broadcast sector experience, in-house as Head of Public Relations at BSB and at Carlton Television and as Director, Public Relations, BBC Worldwide.



Beth Moise, Ph.D., is Senior Vice President, Human Resources. She rejoins the company from British Telecom Worldwide where she was Senior Vice President Human Resources. Prior to this, Dr. Moise worked as Vice President of Human Resources for U S WEST International where she transformed the company's traditional human resources organisational model to a professional consultancy serving over 12,000 national and international employees.



Andy Sukawaty is the Chief Executive Officer of Cable Partners Europe LLC. He is the Chairman of Telenet, the Belgian cable operator. Based in the London office, Sukawaty has exceptional global operational and business development experience in wired and wireless communications arenas. He has a track record of delivering on operational performance and shareholder value.
